Zayn Malik became an overnight sensation when he appeared on The X Factor in 2010.

He quickly catapulted to stardom as a member of the global sensation One Direction, after auditioning for the show.

Simon Cowell brought him into the group, which went on to become one of the best-selling boy bands in history and has since ruled in fans’ hearts globally. However, Zayn departed the group in 2015 to pursue a solo career with a more personal journey in music.

Zyan Malik, who broke the internet recently by paying tribute to late One Direction member Liam Payne, turns 32 today and it’s not sitting well with the fans. Many fans are quoting Zayn Malik’s tweet from 2011 where he wrote, ‘I’m 18 on the 12th of Jan?? Wow old much.” and reacting with sad and crying GIFs.
