Daniel Craig Calls The Idea Of Leaving Behind His Fortune For His Children ‘Distasteful’

Now this is quite a change that many will find
hard to accept. We have often seen parents talking about how they want to leave behind
plenty of wealth for their children so that they have a secure and better life. Hollywood actor and James Bond star Daniel Craig thinks otherwise. He feels inheritance
is quite distasteful and believes in getting rid of the money before you go.

In an interaction with Candis Magazine, he
spoke about how he will not leave any wealth behind for their kids as he finds this inheritance
distasteful,

“Isn’t there an old adage
that if you die a rich person, you’ve failed? I think Andrew Carnegie gave away
what in today’s money would be about $11 billion, which shows how rich he was
because I’ll bet he kept some of it, too. My
philosophy is get rid of it or give it away before you go. I don’t want to
leave great sums to the next generation
”.

The actor will be receiving $100
million for his upcoming movies Knives Out sequel and James Bond movie
but looks like his kids will not get much of his wealth as he has
different plans.
